Welcome to Spunky Monkeys Dayhome, I am private but have been running my dayhome successfully for 8 years from ages 12 months and up. I am also licensed with the city of calgary and all crim checks are done yearly with them.I absolutely love taking care of children and creating a safe space for everyone!! About Me
My Background
I have been providing my child-care services for families in the area for as long as I can remember. I am great with children of all ages, and consider myself a fun and honest childcare giver. My dayhome has been running for 8 years, and I also worked for a before and after school program for 7 years before I opened my dayhome. I have 2 wonderful daughters aged 9 and 11, who absolutely love the children! You can count on me to make sure your children are safe and secure as well as nurtured and loved in your hours away from home. You lead a busy life, and I am here to alleviate some of your daily stress. I’m the Child Care Provider you’ve been looking for. I offer a variety of childcare services, so please browse the options below and get in touch with any questions.I am located in Evergreen SW
-I do some preschool learning and activities to get them ready for kindergarten, for anyone who isn't sure about preschool for their children. I am not a teacher but do my best to help them with their alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors worksheets.
-Big playroom in basement, with bathroom close by and bedroom for naps. Decent sized backyard for playing with tons of toys,playgrounds nearby for days we might walk to one.
-Screen time is limited, we may do some TV time in the beginning of quiet time which will be in the afternoons when younger children are napping. And sometimes music or learning videos time to time.
-Meals will always have something healthy.
-We are not a peanut free house.-Smoke free home.
-We do have one medium sized dog named Cooper, he is hypoallergenic, the kids love him and he loves kids!!
-First Aid, ECE level 1, and I have my city license and updated crim check every year. I also provide tax receipts every January. Detailed contract along with references
My hours are 7am-4:45pm Monday-Friday. *Open till 5 for parents who need it.*
**I can provide discounts for anyone who can't afford my prices**
Full time ages 1-4, $750/month, part-time- $40 per day, paid at the beginning of every month.
Kindergarten- $650 full time, part-time- $35 per day, paid at the beginning of every month. I will provide lunch and afternoon snack, PD days will be AM snack, lunch and PM snack.
School aged care- $450 full time, part-time- $25 per day, paid at the beginning of every month. I will provide afternoon snack. PD days will be AM snack, lunch and PM snack.
*I also provide a discount for siblings, $150 off for ages 1-4, and $100 off when in school.*
Summer will also be my normal $750 full time fee and part-time has to be minimum 2 days a week to hold your spot, which will be $40 per day.
I take up to 2 weeks of vacation, one is paid and one is discounted, and with some days off here and there, more in the summer months.
*Closed all Statutory holidays
*All fees are to be paid at the beginning of every month.
